Headquartered in Northern Virginia, AcornSI is a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) founded by Bob Willitts and Hyrum Laney in 2013. Primarily focused on Federal Government Research & Development, AcornSI works across a diverse set of customers and technologies. Currently AcornSI has capabilities in Maritime ISR, Ocean Sciences, Unexploded Ordnance (UXO) Classification, and Business Intelligence.

Meet the Leadership
Members of AcornSI’s Management Team have collectively spent nearly 60 years supporting Maritime Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) both operationally and through numerous Research and Development (R&D) initiatives.
As executive leaders in R&D with proven abilities around emergent technologies, the Management Team fosters an entrepreneurial, high performing, and ethical culture while establishing close relationships with customers and partner organizations.
Together, they set the strategic direction for the company and provide ongoing leadership and direction to the company’s senior managers.
